How SATCOM Index collects, uses, and protects information

SATCOM Index is an independent satellite-communications knowledge base. This policy explains what information we process when you use satcomindex.com and how you can make privacy choices.

Information we process

  • Technical and usage data: Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser type, device information, and diagnostic logs.
  • Optional analytics: If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may measure page views, referral sources, approximate location, and interactions. Analytics storage is denied by default until you choose otherwise.
  • Information you send us: If you email us, we process your email address, message, and attachments to respond.
  • Calculator inputs: Values entered into our browser-based technical calculators are used to produce the requested result. We do not ask you to enter personal information into these tools.

We use this information to operate and secure the site, understand aggregate usage with consent, answer inquiries, correct content, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and consent

Advertising and third parties

We may use Google AdSense after the site is approved. If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve, measure, and protect ads. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Children

SATCOM Index is a general technical reference and is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required locally. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
